Just before her divorce, Reggie Lambert (Hepburn) finds her husband has been murdered after converting every penny they owned to cash. She is then pursued by several men, all of whom suspect that she knows where the cash is. As corpses accumulate it becomes increasingly difficult to tell the good guys from the bad. Ingenious, witty and very good entertainment.

The Parisian setting, especially the moonlit boat trip gliding under the Seine bridges, is an integral part. Good old-fashioned escapist entertainment. < less
