Film DescriptionProbably the most well known of the Ealing studio productions, The Ladykillers is a black comedy of the highest quality as a gang of robbers hatch the perfect plan. However, they reckon without their dear little landlady, Mrs Wilberforce (Katie Johnson). Alec Guinness completely transforms himself into the insalubrious Professor Marcus, who - along with his associates the Major (Cecil Parker), Louis (Herbert Lom), Harry (Peter Sellers) and One-Round (Danny Green) - adopts the guise of amateur musicians in order to carry out their plan.
