Film DescriptionA political thriller based on real events, Fair Game stars Sean Penn as Ambassador Joe Wilson and Naomi Watts as his wife, CIA Agent Valerie Plame. While Plame is leading a covert investigation into the presence of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, her diplomat husband Wilson publishes a controversial article accusing the administration of manipulating intelligence about the weapons to justify the invasion of the country. When Plame's identity is subsequently revealed by a journalist, her overseas contacts are placed in mortal danger, and Plame is pushed to breaking point as both her career and her family life are threatened.
