Film Description

Hyped as the most expensive film ever, Cleopatra - which sees Cleopatra (Elizabeth Taylor) turn her affections to Mark Antony (Richard Burton) after the murder of Julius Caesar - was described by Taylor as 'bizarre' and overshadowed by the off-screen romance of its stars and the catalogue of disasters that befell the movie.

Actually, it's great fun, although the more cynical can sit with a calculator and try to work out where all the money went.
