Film Description

Cary Grant and Deborah Kerr star as a playboy and a nightclub singer who embark on a shipboard romance and eventually fall completely in love with each other. They decide to make a pact that when they arrive to their separate homes, they will end their respective relationships, and rendezvous in six months' time at the top of the Empire State Building. The course of true love, however, never does run smooth.

A remake of the 1939 movie 'Love Affair', An Affair to Remember is the one they keep watching in Sleepless in Seattle. It may be soapy but Kerr and Grant play it with such conviction that you’re transported from the classy opening scenes.
