It isn't easy being Britain's 'Forces' Sweetheart' - as Judy James (Hy Hazell) discovers after returning from entertaining the boys in Korea. She needs to get ready for her brand new West End show, which is being sponsored by eccentric impresario Aloysius Dimwitty (Freddie Frinton). However, as Forces sweetheart she is also attracting all sorts of lovesick buffoons - including Private Llewelyn (Harry Secombe) and Flight Lieutenant Robinson (Michael Bentine) - and they are making her private life a right mess! Will she end up with the right man? Will her West End show end in disaster?
