Film Description

An affecting and compassionate drama of life during after civil war, set in Mozambique in the early 1990s, where a sensitive boy named Muidinga (Nick Lauro Teresa) struggles to survive without the presence of his parents, whose whereabouts are unknown. When Muidinga chances upon a diary that speaks of a woman on a ship seeking her estranged son, he is certain that the woman is her mother, and embarks on a long journey in search of her, assisted by a travelling companion in the shape of an elderly man, Tuahir.
