A documentary portrait of the unorthodox director David Lynch, filmed over a two-year period, as he works on his latest film 'Inland Empire' (2006). The film offers a rare insight into the creative process of one of the most compelling directors of our time, responsible for ground-breaking films such as: 'The Elephant Man' (1980), 'Blue Velvet' (1986) and 'Mulholland Drive' (2001).
