Film DescriptionAnother case for the ale-drinking Oxford detective. When a wealthy American tourist is found dead while on a tour of England, Morse (John Thaw) and Lewis (Kevin Whately) are called in to investigate. The dead woman had been about to return 'The Wolvercote Tongue', a precious jewel, to the Ashmoleum Museum. The jewel is now missing, and it is up to Morse to get it back.
