Film DescriptionAfter 20 happy years of marriage, Kate Morris (Liv Ullmann) is confronted with the news of her husband’s death whilst away on a business trip. The hotel register reveals that he’s been travelling with another woman and Morris determines to track down her rival and discover the secrets of her husband’s double life. When the two women do meet, talking about their relationship with Richard provides a catharsis which develops into a physical relationship. Based on the Frederick Raphael novel.
