Film Description

Romantic adventure drama set in the jungles of Venezuela and based on the novel by William Henry Hudson. Audrey Hepburn plays the mysterious 'bird girl', Rima, a woman who lives wild in nature but who becomes the prey of superstitious natives, who believe her to be an evil spirit. When handsome young Venezuelan refugee Abel (Anthony Perkins) flees to the jungle, he meets Rima and falls passionately in love with her.
