Film Description

Tarr's treatment of love and betrayal in a provincial town, where a listless, brooding man who has almost completely withdrawn from the world becomes obsessed with a singer in a bar he frequents. The metaphysical beauty called up from the edges of desolation makes it compulsively watchable.
