Film Description

College bandmates Danny and Hank (Fred Astaire and Burgess Meredith) are surprised when their hard-working manager Ellen (Paulette Goddard) is tempted away by an offer to work for the great bandleader Artie Shaw. The two trumpeters try to find their way into Shaw’s band - and win Ellen’s affections - and begin outdoing each other in their efforts to make an impression…
