Film Description

Teenager Dori (Tuesday Weld) has one ambition in life - to buy a dress for the forthcoming high-school prom. But she's not going to get very far if she keeps spending her pocket money playing Elvis records on the jukebox. Events take a suprising turn when her boyfriend wins a talent contest and manages to persuade disc jockey Alan Freed to provide an all-star line up for the dance...

Rock, Rock, Rock presents a fascinating snapshot of the emerging Rock 'n' Roll scene in mid-1950s America. An early entry in the teen-flick genre, the film captures all the exuberance and energy of the era and features unique footage of performances by Chuck Berry, The Johnny Burnette Trio and Frankie Lymon; Connie Francis can also be heard on the soundtrack, dubbing for the singing voice of Tuesday Weld.
