Film Description
As their ship comes into port, five sailors and a passenger embark on an overnight shore leave in 'Swinging London' in this 1960s British B-Movie.
Passenger and businessman, George Hudson (Bernard Lee), is the victim of a 'honey trap' when he is enticed by the voluptuous Wanda (Erika Remberg), whilst the four sailors hit the town looking for a hedonistic cocktail of love and booze. But Lee (John Bonney) finds himself falling in love with kooky existentialist Penny (Heather Sears), whilst Arthur (David Lodge) visits his 'mum.' Harry and Paddy decide to drink the night away in a bar where The Searchers are playing. But their plan goes wrong and Harry gets more than he bargained for when he crosses boxer, Freddie Mills, at a Soho club, and Jamie falls in love with vulnerable runaway Jean (Francesca Annis). As their Saturday night out nears its end, will all of the revellers eventually find their way back to port? The film also features The Searchers performing in a pub.
