Film Description

Martin Shaw plays maverick priest Father Jacob - exorcist, miracle detective and the Vatican's saint-maker - whose mission is to prevent Satan from gaining power. With an increase in the claims of apparitions, possessions and signs from God, Father Jacob's time is taken up with investigating them. And whilst some supporters of the Catholic Church see the increase as a sign that Armageddon is closing in, others view it as an indication of the Church's vulnerability to fraud. Father Jacob's job is to present the truth, whatever he finds.
