Film Description

A unique documentary that charts the history of Liverpool in the 20th century. Rare films records the giant pageant in Wavetree Park in 1907 plus numerous royal visits and other special moments such as men sailing off to fight in the Great war, vintage film of the 'overhead railway', work on the Mersey tunnel and the opening of Speke (now John Lennon) airport.
