Film Description
A filmed conversation between two real life friends who have not met for 6 years; Andre Gregory - avant garde theatre director and playwright and Wallace Shawn - actor-playwright. In this brilliant film, we are the third guest at a dinner enjoyed by two old acquaintances. They converse intelligently about a question many people ask themselves: what's it all about? 'it' being life, the experience you make for yourself before you inevitably die. If you don't ask yourself that question, then maybe you wont get the point of the film, which is, in my opinion, to encourage us to think more freely and accurately about our own lives.
As with all films, I was looking for something to round it off at the end. There was nothing so obvious as an answer, but it was beautifully put that we might all benefit from sharing in this type of conversation. So see this film, and good luck with your life! < less
