Three and Out DVD, 2008

Black comedy about the relationship between a dissatisfied London Underground driver and an estranged father. When two people are run over by Paul's (Mackenzie Crook) tube train in a matter of days, his colleagues let him in on a little-known rule. If, in the space of a month, three fatal accidents occur while you're driving, then you're paid off with ten years' salary in a lump sum. Looking to clear his debts and find time to write a novel, Paul sets out to find a willing accomplice. After a few understandable knockbacks he meets Tommy (Colm Meaney), about to end it all by jumping from Holborn Viaduct. The two travel north for the weekend so that Tommy can attempt to reconcile things with his long-abandoned family before taking the fatal plunge. As the weekend progresses, the unlikely duo find themselves becoming friends. What will happen when Monday rolls around?
