Film DescriptionJennifer Lopez stars in romantic comedy Maid in Manhattan as Marisa Ventura, a single mother who works as a maid in one of New York's top hotels, but has aspirations to do much better. Holding her back is her mother, who thinks she should accept who and what she is and leave it at that. However, after a case of mistaken identity Marisa finds herself being pursued by a politician who is running for the Senate. Egged on by her friends at the hotel (Bob Hoskins amongst them) and her son, Marisa decides to accept a date with the dashing bachelor but finds their paths are definitely not the same and she returns to her New York suburb, having lost her man and job. Will love conquer the social divide?
