Film Description

Echoing the events of Columbine, the relentless bullying of a classmate forms a bond between two pupils that leads to bloody retribution in this gritty Estonian high-school drama.

Endlessly subjected to various humiliations by his classmates, Joosep finds an ally in Kaspar, a new arrival at the school. Unfortunately, Kaspar's attempts to protect his new friend cause the bullies to attack Joosep even more ferociously, while Kaspar himself is ostracised by the rest of his classmates. Soon, however, events are brought to a head when the two boys suffer a particularly humiliating act, and finally turn in desperation to the weapons Joosep's father, a soldier, keeps at home.
