Film Description

The original adaptation of Graham Greene's prophetic novel about the American foreign policy in Indochina. Audie Murphy plays the innocent Young American opposite the older, more cynical Michael Redgrave. Pressures permeating post-McCarthyist Hollywood meant that a Communist plot altered Greene's story.
