Smash Palace is a breakers yard set deep in the isolated New Zealand countryside. Proprietor Al Shaw, a retired racing driver, seems content to ride out his days there in comparative isolation. He still drives the odd race car and has his wife Jackie and their young daughter to complete his idyllic journeys end. But Jackies journey is far from over.
