Film Description

Mel Gibson plays veteran pilot Gene Ryack, hired by the CIA to smuggle supplies to the indigenous forces in Vietnam-era Laos. He is also running guns on the side for personal profit. All his plans are thrown into chaos, however, by the arrival of maverick young pilot Billy Covington (Robert Downey Jr), who has just been kicked out of his job for reckless flying.
