Film Description

Controversial epic Western, condemned as 'Lust In The Dust' by the Church, and subject to a number of production difficulties as perfectionist producer David O. Selznick, in his multi-Oscar nominated follow up production to 'Gone With The Wind', crossed swords with a number of short-lived directors. Jennifer Jones plays a seductive woman of dual heritage who is the object of desire for two brothers - the upstanding, honour-bound Joseph Cotten, and the amoral, rogueish Gregory Peck.
