Film Description

Aka The Thing. Howard Hawks produced and supervised this fifties sci-fi classic in which a military unit are called out to investigate a mysterious crash site in the frozen wastes of the Arctic. On arrival, they discover an unidentified disc-shaped craft from which they manage to save the alien pilot who, on return to base, defrosts and begins to wreak havoc, giving the men the choice of destroy or be destroyed. 'Keep watching the skies!'
