Film Description

Alda and Burstyn glow on screen as two people who find enduring love with each other despite being married to other people. A meeting at a California inn leads the seemingly mismatched pair into a 26-year-long affair in which they meet for only one weekend every year. Through the 1950s to the 1970s, the couple grows and changes as the years roll by but never lose their sense of awe that comes with finding their true soul mate.
