Film Description

An oversexed hotelier, a prim spinster artist, a precocious teenager and her shrewish chaperone compete for the attention of a defrocked clergyman in a Mexican backwater. Huston invests Tennesse Williams's play with a muscular seediness that complements its lowering sense of disappointment and desperation.
