Woody Allen follows up the splendid Match Point by staying in London to dish up another helping of murder, lust and dark laughs with a touch of the occult. After a ghostly tip-off, an inquisitive young journalist becomes embroiled in tracking a tarot-influenced serial killer, who may, or may not be, a handsome politician on the rise. Not released in the UK for reasons unknown, Scoop is another slice of warmly entertaining Allen with a weighty enough cast in Scarlett Johansson, Hugh Jackman, Ian McShane, Charles Dance and Woody himself.
