Filmmaker Julien Temple's celebration of the life and work of Joe Strummer, frontman of punk band The Clash, comprising archive footage of his life and interviews with friends, family and celebrities.
As a musical icon and political activist, Strummer was never shy about saying what was on his mind. The Future Is Unwritten contains previously unseen footage including studio sessions, archive and early childhood footage and interviews with devotees including Martin Scorsese, Bono, members of the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Mick Jones.
