Charles and Lydia Brett have been the reigning stars of the London stage since the 1880s, and by the 1920s they are very nearly royalty, resplendent in the glittery celebration enjoyed by post-World War I England. Created by playwright Rosemary Ann Sisson ("Upstairs Downstairs,") this British mini-series explores life in London and the theatre through one of its more luminous and fortunate families.
