Film Description

Douglas Sirk melodrama about Naomi Murdoch (Barbara Stanwyck), a woman who returns to the family she deserted years before to see her daughter appear in the town play. Her arrival sets the sleepy community abuzz with excitement, and threatens to re-open old wounds - and rekindle old relationships.
