The Long Way Home

Film Description

Jack Lemmon plays Tom Gerrin, a 75 year old widower who finds himself at the mercy of his sons after his wife dies. He moves into a son's house but is soon irritated with the way everyone treats him like an invalid. A chance meeting with a college student who nearly runs him down in his car then sees Tom deciding to take decisions into his own hands and travel across the country to meet an old sweetheart.
