Film Description

A drama set in a Canadian mining village. Margaret MacNeil is happy being single - until she meets Neil Currie, a charming, sincere Gaelic-speaking miner who, after meeting her, avoids the harsh mining life by taking a job as a dishwasher in a restaurant. As they try to shut themselves away from the oppressive community in which they live, they build themselves a refuge on the windswept coast.
