Film Description

An all-star adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson's classic tale about the adventures of David Balfour and Alan Breck in their attempts to establish David's rights to the House of Shaws.

Arriving at his uncle’s bleak Scottish house, young David Balfour plans to claim his family inheritance, yet is first nearly murdered and then shipped off to be sold as a slave in the colonies by his relative. However, he strikes up a friendship with Breck, who is on the run from Bonny Prince Charlie’s defeat at Culloden. The two then hatch a plan to get to land, and then Edinburgh – but must stay ahead of the merciless Redcoats if they are to stay alive.
