Film Description

A look at London in the swinging sixties through the eyes of a humble sandwich board man Horace Quilby (Michael Bentine). Throughout the course of the day he travels London and meets many different types of people played by top comedy names of the time including Alfie Bass, Terry-Thomas, Bernard Cribbins, Diana Dors, Wilfred Hyde-White, Warren Mitchell, Norman Wisdom and Ian Hendry.

I saw this movie around 1971. It was a stay-up-all-night feature on the limited cable in those days. With the help of a magic mushroom, I never laughed so hard in my entire life, especially when I saw the Indian guys. I remember parents screaming at us to shut up. I remember the car/boat entering the water. I would like to see this epic of supposed hilarity again, now that I don't do those things anymore. Does anyone have a copy or a means to record this film? I might just try to find a shroom after all these years and see it again. (No minor children involved)OK, I'm not a holier than thou, just joking.
