Two classic scores by François de Roubaix, the soundtracks to two highly regarded French movies, Robert Enrico's Les Aventuriers (1967) and Jean-Pierre Melville's Le Samouraï (1967), both starring Alain Delon who sings on one track. The Les Adventuriers soundtrack has that lovely introspective de Roubaix style and the Le Samouraï soundtrack is a cool, smoky, cinematic jazz affair. This reissue also contains two fine Le Samouraï theme remixes.
