Film Description

A moving documentary that follows Mir Hussain, a young boy who lives in the caves among the ruins of the Buddhas of Bamiyan, formerly one of Afghanistan's foremost tourist attractions, but destroyed by the Taliban in March, 2001. In spite of Mir's bleak surroundings, the boy remains optimistic about his future even as US helicopters fly overhead and military vans drive by.
