Film Description

A single hour long story in six episodes which told of the Witch who was turned to a nothing....and of the unexpected arrival in Amos and Edna Pogle's life of Plant and Pippin. Stop-motion animation series made for the BBC in 1966 by Oliver Postgate and Peter Firmin (and with music by Vernon Elliott). This original story features the evil old shape-changing witch that the BBC found so scary that it never re-broadcast the series!
