Longtime admirer Martin Scorsese said that whenever he saw the Archers' logo of an arrow hitting the bullseye of a target before a film, he 'felt the way other children felt when they saw the Walt Disney logo’ and knew that he ‘was going to see something strange and wonderful and slightly hysterical'.
