Jack the Rippers daughter murders victims in Edwardian London. Gorgeous sets and photography and interesting script, with innocently psychotic murderess coming clean for her actions, thanks to her mental illness. Unrealistically neat - serial killers are not usually mentally ill and they have truly filthy and perverse motivations - but this is not a documentary. Shows that Hammer made some of their best films in their much maligned 1970s. < less
