Film Description

Nigel Kneale's comic fantasy series about Des Kinvig, an electrical repairman whose humble lot is radically altered when he discovers one of his customers is an emissary from the Planet Mercury, who has come to warn of an imminent alien invasion. Despite his friend Jim, a dedicated UFO spotter, being appalled that someone as cosmically insignificant as Des should be made the recipient of stupendous revelations about the ongoing galactic struggle, can Kinvig help to save the earth?
