Film Description

A pairing of Bing Crosby films. In The Emperor Waltz (Billy Wilder, 1948) he stars as Virgil H. Smith, a phonograph salesman plying his wares in turn-of-the-20th-century Vienna. In A Connecticut Yankee (Garnett, 1949), the musical version of Mark Twain's novel, Bing plays a blacksmith who is knocked out and wakes up in the days of King Arthur, where he is proclaimed a wizard.
