Film Description

A film based on the thrilling true story of Oberleutnant Franz von Werra, the only German prisoner of war taken in Britain during the Second World War and who escaped from numerous British POW camps and eventually made it back to Germany. Hardy Kruger – a real-life prisoner of war, who escaped from the Americans on three occasions – stars as the cocky and charismatic von Werra.
