Film Description

A ruthless kidnapper aiming to snatch a wealthy industrialist's son takes the chauffeur's son by mistake - but still demands the ransom. Inspector Tokuro is ruthless in his pursuit of the kidnapper, and the tension increases as he closes in on his man. Adapted from an Ed McBain novel and with Hitchcock in the shadows of its stylisation, Kurosawa takes on film noir.
