Film Description

All thirteen episodes from the first series of Gerry Anderson's live-action TV series in which Commander Straker runs SHADO (Supreme Headquarters Alien Defence Organisation) incognito from beneath a working film studio, assisted by Colonels Paul Foster (Michael Billington), Alec Freeman (George Sewell), Dr Doug Jackson (Vladek Sheybal) and Lt Gay Ellis (Gabrielle Drake). An alien race is intent on using humans as organ donors, but first they have to make it past the interceptors from moonbase.

Thrillingly styled (bat-winged cars, skin-tight silver space suits, purple moonwigs), with excitingly memorable music and one of the best opening credits sequences ever, this was a classic series with something for children and adults alike.
