Vittorio De Sica FilmsAlthough arguably a lesser light of Italian neo-realism when compared to the likes of Michelangelo Antonioni and Luchino Visconti, actor-director Vittorio De Sica did produce perhaps the finest example of that particular cinematic movement in Ladri di biciclette (The Bicycle Thieves in the UK, The Bicycle Thief in the US).
