Stanley Kramer paid tribute to this tradition in the epic Its A Mad Mad Mad Mad World (1963), and today the action comedy has become a staple of the summer Hollywood blockbuster season. Few are as good as Stephen Chow's Kung Fu Hustle (2004) which - despite eye-popping special effects and amazing fight scenes - still recalls the comic timing and timeless charm of the silent greats. < show less
